Snakes and Ladders is a classic board game introduced to Europe in the nineteenth century originating from India. Bonus is played on a 12×12, 144 spaced snake and ladder board. Players are represented by a gorilla head token starting from square number one. One each spin, two dice are rolled, and the token moves the applicable number of squares. Empty box or display one of these:
- Money Rewards – 4x wins to 100x the bet added to the total spin win.
- Multiplier – the value of the multiplier is applied to the total wins accumulated up to that point.
- Ladder – moves the player from a lower square to a higher square.
- Snake – moves the payer from the higher box to the lower box.

The bonus game ends when no more dice are played or when the token reaches the last square. If the latter case, then the round ends, but the player has a chance to re-trigger. The word iconic is of course overused in modern parlance, but when it comes to a board game that has remained popular throughout the 100s, it’s only natural that snakes and ladders are given that title.
